Claiming a prompt is 100% optional for fest participants and is being offered as an extra help for those that would like to work from a prompt for their creations. If you would like to claim one of the prompts on the list of prompts, come back to this DW community on Sunday Oct 15 at 9AM EST to post an anonymous screened comment to the claiming post. Email claims will not be accepted for claiming prompts. But don't worry, you don't need to have a dreamwidth account to comment on a post - commenting is set to allow anonymous commenting.
Claiming Guidelines:
An important note to participants: Prompts are going to serve as guidelines for fest participants that claim them, and the Author/Artist will be free to do whatever they choose to with it. That means that they may choose the pairing or tweak the scenario to suit their needs. Claiming prompts will be on a first come first serve basis through screened comments to claim a prompt. Fest participants are also welcome to create their own prompts for tropes.

Claiming will remain open for the duration of the fest for those participants that may decide later to claim a prompt.

LIST OF PROMPTS
Claiming Guidelines:
- Claiming will be on a first come, first served basis.
- You may only claim one prompt.
- Prompts can be claimed once for art and once for fic.
- When claiming, you'll have the option to list your top 3 prompt choices. If your first prompt is already taken, you'll be given your second, and if the second is unavailable, you'll be given the third.
- Creators are allowed to change any aspect of a prompt to suit their needs.
- If you claim a prompt featuring a trope that is not your assigned trope, your submission will still need to feature your assigned trope as the main aspect of your creation.
